What would make Summit West a more complete community?
The City of Bend is exploring how existing city regulations, policies and processes can better support small-scale, neighborhood-serving commercial uses in residential areas. SWND surveyed residents for input and shared the results with the City of Bend during a roundtable on June 22, 2026.
Summit West is the youngest of thirteen neighborhood districts formally recognized by the City of Bend.
Our role is to build community, improve life in our friendly little corner of town, and reflect community input about the future of Bend. Our biweekly newsletters share information about news and events that may affect you. It's your neighborhood - Get involved!​
Neighborhood Districts serve as a vital link between the City of Bend and residents, ensuring community voices are heard and represented in local decision-making.
Our role is to facilitate valuable feedback from residents and businesses regarding projects, programs, and policy decision-making by City Council, committees, and staff.
