Time & Location
Jun 22, 2026, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Bend City Hall Chambers, 710 NW Wall St, Bend, OR 97703, USA
About the event
The City is exploring how existing regulations, policies, and related city processes can better support small-scale neighborhood-serving commercial uses in residential areas. As noted in the memo attached to this email, existing local regulations already allow some types of neighborhood commercial activity in residential zones, but these provisions are rarely used today. The purpose of the roundtable conversation is to better understand:
Desired neighborhood amenities and services,
Compatibility concerns,
Barriers within existing Development Code standards for Neighborhood Commercial Sites,
And potential tools or actions that may support neighborhood-serving activity in the future
